From Poglia, the Affumicata candle: "We collaborated with Joya Studios to create a signature candle and scent, Affumicata (“smokey” in Italian), a comforting smell with notes of sandalwood, saddle leather and pepper. The base of each piece is a porcelain vessel with a 22k gold rim, and the imprint of Poglia’s horse-shoe ring on the back. The lids are also made of porcelain and adorned with a solid brass piece. Each candle was hand-poured in Brooklyn, NY." With notes of Brazilian pepper, saddle leather, brushed suede, hay, charred oak and sandalwood, 260g, $135.

Annick Goutal's holiday candle gets a new name and spiffy new packaging for 2017: Une Foret d'Or ("Une Foret d'Or, the addictive Noel candle is wrapped in a midnight blue glass, lushly covered with white and gold leaves.
