Davidoff Cool Water Into The Ocean ~ new fragrances

Davidoff Cool Water Into The Ocean, fragrance bottles

Davidoff will launch Cool Water Into The Ocean, the 2013 limited edition summer flankers for the brand’s Cool Water fragrances.*

In 1988, DAVIDOFF introduced a new wave of freshness to the world with DAVIDOFF Cool Water, creating a strong connection with the ocean. Since 2012, this relationship has been reaffirmed with the National Geographic worldwide partnership. The new summer editions offer another take on the ocean, a tribute to the beauty of its fauna and flora. Thanks to DAVIDOFF Cool Water Into the Ocean, experience another freshness, dive deeper and see the wonders and power of the ocean.

Davidoff Cool Water Man Into the Ocean ~ a fresh aromatic with marine accord, mandarin, grapefruit, basil, sage and  juniper. In 125 ml Eau de Toilette.

Davidoff Cool Water Woman Into the Ocean ~ a fruity floral with mint leaves, melon, pineapple, water violet and iris base. In 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

(via press release)

* The notes and descriptions have not changed the last few years, so these are quite possibly the same summer fragrances, repackaged and renamed.

I have a nostalgic memorie with the original women scent. That and Issy Miyake was my scents through my late teens until mid 20′s. I like the smell of them both, but have no desire to go back there ;)

Nice that your nostalgic love is still going strong though! Most of mine are gone.

I absolutely loved the men’s original UNTIL a full bottle broke inside a gym bag..and that, as they say, was that. I could never wear it again.

I have owned several bottles of the original, but never a flanker. i think i am going to fork up the cash for a bottle of Cereus No.7, which is said to be a classier version of the original Cool Water.

The notes of the woman’s version sound like they’d be similar to my signature; the original Acqua Di Gio. I think I might have to hunt this down and see how it measures up to my one great love!
Thank you for posting about this :-)
