Juicy Couture Couture La La ~ new perfume

Juicy Couture Couture La La advert, Karlie Kloss

Juicy Couture has launched Couture La La, a new fragrance for women which might or might not be a variation on an existing fragrance in the line:

A little punk rock, a lot of free spirit. She’s classic Juicy, unexpected, daring and always couture. Like the color pink, she is perfection. She is Couture La La. Couture La La blends bright sparkling mandarin with bold white florals for a fragrance experience that captures the essence of femininity and daring allure of the unexpected.

Juicy Couture Couture La La is available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum, and can be found now at Macy’s, $90.

    Yea, I bit.

It was past midnight and I was online looking for the sale on Pyrex containers. Plus, Free Tote! Free headphones with fragrance purchase!! 15% off online purchase!!! FREE SHIPPING!!!! Eleventy!!!!1!!!1

They really know how to suck ya in, and I am tool old to be falling for it, but I did!

I adore all their tacky bottles and I have no regrets, though. Well, I do regret that it’s one of the huge honking bottles…my other ones are the smaller sizes, and they’re gaudy enough. I can just about imagine what this bad boy is gonna look like. I consider this my reward for resisting La Fleur, which didn’t reach my threshold for tacky enough. (It had tack in plenty, don’t get me wrong, but I dunno, the bling factor wasn’t there, in addition to being exactly like the bling on one of the earlier bottles)

But I got a 24 piece set of Pyrex containers (with lids!) a cute tote, a pair of headphones ( that’ll fall apart in a week, I have no doubt) and the perfume for $109 out the door, which really isn’t too bad.

    Humor me, peeps. ;)

I will say a little prayer that your headphones will last 4 weeks minimum. And I love those pyrex sets, so hey, all in all not a bad deal. Happy Black Friday :-)

Bless you, child, the prayers are much appreciated! :P

Now the ethical dilemma…is it tacky to give the cheap headphones as a gift along with an iTunes gift card? To a 13 year old? I thought it’d be a nice extra, but I feel bad since it was free.

Hmmm. To my mind it is fine unless you really do think they’ll only last a week. Otherwise I think it’s great. My 14 year old loses a pair of earbuds at least once a month, so they’d be welcome.

That’s what I was thinking…if they are horribly cheap looking, I”ll keep them, but if they look like they’ll last even a month, I’ll give them to her.

I hate just giving a gift card, so these will hopefully be decent enough quality.

    white florals are bold?

    pink is perfection?

did i wake up in some weird parallel universe?

is civet considered to be tame here?

You could argue that Juicy Couture *is* a weird parallel universe. And a successful one :-)

I like the flacons, they’re very Marie Antoinette.

    It’s the fragrances I can’t stand.

If I got any Juicy Couture for Christmas I’d probably wear it occasionally. But if my nears and dears who know my tastes would choose to give me an ornate bottle, chences are they would go for Boadicea the Victorious. *hint* *hint* :-D

Beyond boring! Been there, done that a million times before. It’s very fresh too Robin, so I’m not sure if it’s even worth your time. Haha! I won’t say it’s worse than Couture Couture, but just as that was grape hair spray, La La can easily be some kinda fresh cleaning product. Haha I’m bad! I dig the pink bottle, but gosh, I wouldn’t even happily accept it as a gift. Oh well. : )

So glad to hear it…was at the mall once this month, didn’t see it, and don’t plan to be back until next year.
