French niche line Les Parfums de Rosine has launched Lotus Rose, a new fresh floral for women:
When a lotus flower smell meets the fragrance of a rose, a new perfume is born. This improbable encounter happened in a beautiful and amazing place: the Isola Madre garden.
“During a morning walk, the vapours at the surface of the lake were still there, when the sun gently rising in the horizon and suddenly I was captivated by an incredible perfume.
Soft like silk, a lotus was developing its watery yet sweet smell, and was interfused in the freshness of an ancient climbing rose bush.
I wanted to capture this wonderful perfume, and with the help of [perfumer] François Robert, Lotus Rose was created.” Marie-Hélène Rogeon.
Notes include bergamot, mandarin, citrus, coriander, neroli, lotus, jasmine, rose, iris flower, sweet pea, amber, sandalwood, musk and okouma wood.
Les Parfums de Rosine Lotus Rose is available now at First in Fragrance in Germany, in 50 or 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
