Agreed. Who wants to smell like pineapple? Lovely in a fruit salad. But in a perfume (for adults)? Not so much.

Reminds me of the great fruity/fresh controversy brewing over Emotionelle! I thought melon was required in this summer's frags?

Right now, the melon craze is mostly “new” in the niche sector, although it never really left the men's mainstream sector. We'll see if it starts invading women's mainstream…

“I thought melon was required in this summer's frags?”

It is, unless the frag contains some flavor of “sorbet”. Bah.

Next perfume I guess will be Amor Amor Sunset.

Me, too! I would love to find another fragrance with a good pineapple note.

One of the Patou scents w/ pineapple is very popular, but of course now I can't remember which. I like AF because it isn't sweet — hard to find a “dry” pineapple.

    That would make sense!

Might be okay. Though I think I am perfumed out right now.

I think it's Colony, but I have not tried it yet.

I, too, like the “dry” aspect of the pineapple in AF.

That's it! I've tried it, but it's not really my style.

I think it is Colony by Patou….. love that one.

Tried this yesterday at Sephora. Grapefruit and raspberries, faded super fast. Usually I like the Amor Summer fragrances, have bought them all, but I think I will pass on this one.
If I were to buy a summer fragrance for this summer, I would probably get the new escada- it really smells like a Summery Cocktail.
