I am a big fan of their “Lavender Inspirations” Ginger & Lime shower and bath gel.

    It is certainly divine.

After this “spa” announcement I went to their site and couldn´t seem to find it… Should I stock up? Are they discontinuing the line?

I will check up with Yardley…

    To Be Continued… ;-)

The new Lavender Spa line appears to only have made it to the UK so far. I don't know about Ginger & Lime, but I know they are not discontinuing the very popular English Lavender line.

Hi, Robin! I love Yardley and wear very often their “English Lavender”. It's soft, sofisticated but simple, and very “english”. :) Hugs!

Nice to see you J, and sorry to report that I just can't make myself love lavender at all, although I know the Yardley one is particularly popular. I do like Jicky, but most other perfumes with even moderate amounts of lavender bother me. Perhaps I'll grow into it one day :-)

I think it's funny that lavender is so often said to be a calming and relaxing scent . It has the opposite effect on me: I find it invigorating! My favorite version is Andy Tauer's Reverie au Jardin.

It strikes me as invigorating more than calming too — but only in perfumes. Actual dried lavender is calming to me (and I like dried lavender).
