Amouage Reflection Woman & Reflection Man ~ new fragrances

Amouage Reflection Woman & Reflection Man fragrances

Amouage will launch a new fragrance duo next month, Reflection Woman and Reflection Man.

Reflection Woman is an Eau de Parfum, housed in a bottle inspired by the dome of the Grand Mosque in Muscat. The fragrance was developed by perfumer Maurice Roucel.

A light, spring-like fragrance, with notes inspired by a secret garden. Water violet, purple freesia and tropical green leaves in the top notes, sit above cool white flowers such as magnolia and jasmine in the heart. Warmth is injected in the base notes with the use of amber, cedarwood and sandalwood.

Reflection Man is an Eau de Toilette in a bottle inspired by the Khanjar, the traditional dagger of Oman. The Reflection Man fragrance was created by perfumer Lucas Sieuzac:

A sophisticated, fresh and spicy fragrance, conjuring images of high summer by the sea. Red pepper berries, rosemary and bitter orange leaves provide wonderfully warm and fragrant top notes, whilst the floral heart contains notes of orris, jasmine and neroli. As with Reflection Woman, the spicy freshness of this fragrance is balanced by warm, rounded notes of cedarwood, sandalwood, patchouli and vetyver in the base.

Both scents come in 50 ml; Reflection Woman is £95, Reflection Man is £80. (via press release from Amouage)

hmmmm….wonder what reflection man is like. i like the bottle!! maybe it will be a good one. i'm not so quick to buy fragrances nowadays because of the aforementioned “similar” notes in all these mainstream fragrances

I have not tried them, but did love the original Amouage Gold for men. Their later scents have not wowed me quite as much.
