Roberto Cavalli Serpentine, Bogner Man, Caron Impact Pour Homme ~ new fragrances

Roberto Cavalli Serpentine perfumeRoberto Cavalli will launch a new fragrance for women, Serpentine, this fall. The fragrance, created by nose “Jacques Cavallier of Firmenich, is built around notes of mango flower combined with mandarin, tiare flower and amber.” (via cosmeticnews) Additional notes include artemisia, frangipani, black pepper and tolu balm. Roberto Cavalli Serpentine is an Eau de Parfum and is available in 30, 50 and 100 ml and in matching body products.

Bogner Man will be released this month in Europe, and features mandarin, bergamot, orange flower, jasmine, rose, cedar, sandalwood, tonka bean, musk and amber. (via moodiereport) As near as I can tell, this is the third fragrance to be titled Bogner Man.

Caron will release their first perfume extract for men this fall. Impact Pour Un Homme is based on the original Pour Un Homme Eau de Toilette (1934), and was developed by house nose Richard Fraysse. Impact Pour Homme is available in 75 ml parfum. The notes include amber, musk, lavender and vanilla.

Well it will be quite interesting to see what Caron comes up with as a men's scent, won't it? I can't wait to catch a sniff of this one.

And there are so few parfums marketed for men, usually at best they get an EdP. I like Caron Pour Homme so I'm interested in this one too.

Bogner Man again? What is going on with that? The notes sound very interesting though.

Love Roberto Cavalli, so I'm anxiously awaiting that one. I hear there is a serpent top so I'm interested in how the bottle will look. It is my personal belief that they launched Cavalli Oro in order to be successful over Boucheron in the snake-top law suit. And now that they have won, this is another slap to Boucheron. Just my opinion.

They must have the same naming committee that works at Escada, LOL!

V, if you go to cosmetic news (link above) before that article goes to the archives, you can see the bottle. It isn't a serpent top, but a serpent is coiled on the bottle itself.
