In 2006, hip-hop and fashion mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs launched a cologne with a citrusy scent and risqué marketing campaign - ads showed Combs sitting on a bed with two women - that made it a best-selling fragrance. Combs called it "Unforgivable."
But an influential glass artist from Pittsfield says a more appropriate name might be "Stolen" and forgiveness isn't on his mind.

Men: Sean Combs thinks we’re all descended from kings and we can become kings of something if we constantly believe “I AM KING! I AM KING!” (presumably while wearing I Am King cologne). I’ve thought of myself as a king since birth but, with time running out, I have no kingdom, not even a measly duchy, to call my own.
I’ve heard Sean Combs’ music, seen his clothing line and even watched his reality show on TV for a few minutes here and there. Combs, like Donald Trump, is always talking about money and seems to believe his endorsement of any product gives that product “class.” Unlike Donald Trump who has participated in funny send-ups of his own image, Combs is serious — about himself and his “impact” on “culture.” For me, watching Combs for any length of time is not fun — it’s tedious; there’s nothing effortless and graceful about trying so hard to impress and dominate. (Just look at the I Am King print and video ads.)
But my attitude towards Combs softened somewhat when I first read the ingredients list for I Am King…

Sean Combs of Sean John in a new promo spot for the recently released I Am King fragrance. This one is around 5 minutes long; there is a longer version here where Diddy talks to the camera and explains that the film is his audition for the James Bond role, and dedicates the I Am King fragrance to Martin Luther King, Barack Obama and Muhammad Ali. The next fragrance for men from Sean Comb's Sean John line will be I Am King, due to launch in December. According to Combs,
I Am King is a statement about all men. We are all descendents of royalty — and if we carry ourselves and respect ourselves in that manner and believe in ourselves, then we are all kings.
