Michael Kors has launched Island Fiji, a limited edition variation on last year’s Island fragrance.
The new perfume features Kauai waterfalls accord, oxygenated water accord, cactus pear, mango, kiwi, honeysuckle, parrot tulip, tiare flower, jasmin sambac, ginger lilies, Bulgarian rose, plumeria, stephanotis, driftwood, rice fields accord, birch and white bark accord…

Thank you to Tania and Marcello for forwarding the news that Coty has purchased Unilever's fragrance business, which will be folded into Coty's Lancaster Group Worldwide. Included in the deal are Unilever fragrance brands Calvin Klein, Cerruti, Vera Wang, Chloe, and Lagerfeld.
Coty's existing brands include Davidoff, Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Kenneth Cole, Marc Jacobs, Jovan, Vivienne Westwood, Nautica, Joop, and The Healing Garden, among others, and new fragrances are coming soon from Sarah Jessica Parker and David Beckham. If you are looking for a lily of the valley fragrance and don’t care for Diorissimo, Muguet des Bois by Coty is worth a try. I have not been able to find a list of the notes online, but this is a soliflore and I don't smell any notes other than lily of the valley with a touch of green. It is a sweeter, cleaner, less sparkling fragrance than Diorissimo, and has a slight hint of soap.

Wondering how Britney Spears' Curious rates against other popular celebrity scents? This article in the UK Mirror (link expired, sorry!) compares some of the big names, and concludes that Curious is “young and a bit sickly”.
Elvis Presley's granddaughter, Riley Keough, has been chosen as the face of Christian Dior's new fragrance. Which fragrance is that? I don't know — they don't bother to say. (via femalefirst link expired, but it turned out to be Miss Dior Cherie)
