The scent's signature lingers for days, although it lessens over time.
The team says this is a proof-of-principal study, but suggests that perfumes have the potential to be used as trace evidence.

So in other words, this article is a gentle reminder not to kill someone while wearing Shalimar, Black Orchid or Angel, (though La Vie Est Belle would work since everyone’s wearing it so good luck narrowing that one down lol) though something from Kenzo or Demeter probably wouldn’t hang around long enough to be incriminating. 😉
