Christian Dior J’Adore Voile de Parfum ~ new fragrance

Christian Dior J'Adore Voile de Parfum

Christian Dior has launched J’Adore Voile de Parfum, a new limited edition flanker for their popular 1999 fragrance, J’Adore.

Discover Voile de Parfum, the newest interpretation of J’Adore. A silky veil of Tuscan Iris and White Musks delicately reveals an intimate and sensual signature. A light and airy mist envelops you in a lingering trail of seduction.

Additional notes include rose.

Christian Dior J’Adore Voile de Parfum is available now for pre-order at Macy’s, in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

So is it clingy like a silk veil or a cloud around you like a mist? And is that mist airy, or does does it hover and linger?

I have this because I’m a sucker for J’adore, but I’m sorry to say it smells like a bargin basement shampoo. Oh J’Adore, how you have fallen, the original was so wonderful…

I don’t know how many versions of this scent there are but I recall walking through some French department store and there appeared to be maybe a dozen variations…I was astonished. Apparently, Dior isn’t finished milking this particular cow just yet.

I don’t think they’ve found anything to replace it, sales wise.

Yes. Mischievously, I once asked a SA to explain to me the differences between the various J’Adores. I then stood back and watched her flounder. This was a bit naughty of me, but really, if a Dior rep. cannot explain them, how can a customer figure it out? And why should a customer bother? And if they can’t be bothered, why should they open their wallet?
