Cartier Eau de Cartier Goutte de Rose ~ new fragrance

Cartier Eau de Cartier Goutte de Rose

Cartier has launched Eau de Cartier Goutte de Rose, a new flanker to 2001′s Eau de Cartier. Goutte de Rose follows last year’s Eau de Cartier Essence de Bois.

Created by Cartier in-house perfumer, Mathilde Laurent, Eau de Cartier Goutte de Rose is a bright and joyful fragrance, infused with the delicacy of a freshly picked garden rose.

Cartier Eau de Cartier Goutte de Rose is available in 100 and 200 ml Eau de Toilette. It can be found now at Saks Fifth Avenue.

I really liked Essence d’Orange. Going to guess this will be better than DKNY’s A Drop of Rose?

What are the notes of this one btw?

Don’t know the notes, but join you in assuming this will beat Drop of Rose.

I like Cartier, love rose: a marriage of the two sounds interesting. As my local Saks closes Jan. 1, I’m assuming this will be hard to sample. Will it be released to Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus?

did you end up trying this? I cant make up my mind what I think, it is such a simple yet pretty fragrance. At some points it smells like a fresh rose mixed with a small touch of baby lotion lol. Something about that must be appealing to the Mom in me because everytime I try it I keep smelling my wrist every few minutes. My daughter who is 7 adores it… I just do not know when I would wear it, its too “neat” for jeans and a tshirt but its too simple for when Im dressed up. Would be great on a nightgown but is it worth Cartier prices for that? LOL
