I would like to leave a comment about Jean Nate Friction pour le Bain. I bought my first bottle of Jean Nate in the Fall of 1958. I was 16, and my mother suggested I use this after bath spray because I tended to use way too much cologne, and she told me I could take a bath in Jean Nate and it would never be too much. The first bottle was in frosted glass and cost me $5.00 at a store in Joliet, IL, called Dinet’s. At that time $5.00 was a huge amount of money. I had saved it from my baby sitting jobs. I think it was about 12 oz. as best as I recall. I still use it to this day, and it brings back some very pleasant memories of my high school years.
