Where’s the apple? Gardenia and sandalwood; my two favourite notes. Add champagne (my beverage of choice) to that, I’m instantly intrigued. The champagne better be a Perrier-Jouët! Oh, I think it’s happy hour soon in not-so-sunny London.

DKNY Be Delicious is probably the biggest family of flankers in all times! They were green, yellow, pink and thousands more… and now we get silver one, HA!

It’s pretty amazing how many of these they manage to sell.

Hmmm, will give it a try . I bought the original green one when I went through a stupid apple phase ( love the green bottle and hoped for apple … ) but after day 2 of wearing it, I began to feel nauseated and gave it away .

I’ve been there too. I have also been through a stupid mango phase when I was living in Hawaii. I soon found that fruity notes do not do well in hot climate on a sweaty skin. Rancid mango!

lady murasaki, I’m still stuck in a stupid mango phase. Maybe I require a trip to Hawaii to cure it. ;) Sounds like a good enough justification to me. Simply to try and prove the theory, of course. ;)

Granted I haven’t gone out of my way to try the many, many Be Delicious flankers. But this one does sound like it has more potential than most. Though the Candy Apples and newer sweet-themed ones whose names escape me at the moment do look adorable, to be honest.

I say that’s good enough reason for a trip to Hawaii! Mangos are so common there nobody bothers to pick them up from the ground. I do still like a mango note in perfume when it’s done the way I like it; just sweet enough to add interest.

LadyM – I have also had the stupid mango phase ! *LOL* The only good thing that came out of it was Annick Goutal’s Folavril which is the freshest mango note. Silly me bought Manguier Metisse- it is not mango ! Promptly sold it on.

Well, this one will at least probably be a bit less heavy on the apple.

Frozen rose drops….? What the heck is that?

Fantasy note. Probably has some synthetic “chilled” effect.

Okayyyyy. How many flankers will Ms. Karan make? I thought Thierry Mugler had a bad habit of creating unnecessary flankers, but geez louise, he has nothing on Donna Karan(I’m complaining, but I have all of the Be Delicious fragrances, except for Hearts The World ones, and I plan on buying them soon. LOL!) The notes sound so AMAZING, though!

They’re not going to stop until they’ve covered every colour in the spectrum.
