Update: Clive Christian V for Women is a white floral chypre. (via yourbeautyassistant)
somehow it reminds me of V for Vendetta.
I think the ‘V’ is for Victoria, Clive Christian’s daughter & the brand spokesperson. Not loving these letter names though.
Does the woman scent, seems to be a modern chypre or is it just be? Not liking the pink pepper note..kinda tired of that note..
Don’t know…wish they’d said the fragrance family.
It’s kind of hard to tell from the long list of notes. I am liking the sound of V for Women though.
Nothing scares me more about this than the price ! Loadsamoney, I bet.
Otherwise, it will be interesting smelling V .
It’s a spendy line. Luckily they don’t make anything I’d kill for.
Ack. 28 notes listed? The women’s version seems to a have a little of everything – except oud.
I’d like a sample but not expecting much.
They both sound PHE-NOM-ENAL!!!! Awaiting a Sniff… know Saks will have these soon!
Interesting, but peach frightens me.
Thanks for reminding me to add them to the very bottom of my ‘To Test’ list… 😉
Hard to imagine what this will smell like, since the list reads like “hey let’s pile together whole bunch of REALLY good stuff…” without any kind of definition.
Ive only tried the mens version of V, and i know that when the mens version of C came out many said the C stood for ‘copy’ as it smelled very like TF Tuscan Leather – well, i have to say that in this case V stands for ‘version’ as its smelled to me like a slighlty deeper version of Armani Prive’s Bois D’encens (but at a richer price) !
I have a sample here. A classic chypre at the start, in a nice quality, then soft and creamy. I did not finde jasmine and white flowers, they might be too diffused?
The lasting power ist nice, not overwhelming.
I think it has a really good quality, but the price tag is too high. The bottle is well – not my taste.
