Swarovski Aura Collection Mariage ~ new fragrance

Swarovski Aura Collection Mariage

Swarovski will launch Aura by Swarovski Collection Mariage in April of next year. As the name suggests, the new fragrance for women is intended for brides. It is a flanker to 2010′s Aura by Swarovski and is reportedly “evocative of Champagne bubbles”.

The Light Eau de Toilette is composed around three accords, described variously as The Loving Commitment, The Promise of an Eternal Bond and Intense Love. The first features lychee, a key component of the original Aura fragrance, complemented by tea leaves. The second includes peony and lotus; the third white musk.

Aura by Swarovski Collection Mariage will be available in 50 ml Light Eau de Toilette, and in a 50 ml Prestige Edition with more crystals. There is also a 30 ml Hair Mist, and a “Shimmering Pink Crystal Gloss Make-up Jewel”. The juice was developed by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin.

Where’s the original?! A flanker already! I shouldn’t be too surprised. Ha! I dig the bottle. : )

I have never seen it — can’t even remember if it’s in the US or not.

Aura smells like Midnight Rose Lancome, Midnight Rose is more lovely and smoother.

dear lord, the name of those ‘accords’ are ridiculous. Who knew that The Loving Commitment smells like lychee? And Intense Love, white musk?

It’s true! Apparently, I will happily do without Loving Commitment OR Intense Love.
