I got a sample of this when I ordered the gorgeous MAC Dark Deeds lipstick a while back and it isn’t as bad as I’d figured. Very green, a bit soapy and not exactly breath-taking, but for a put something on that’s impossible to offend, it wasn’t bad. Especially given some of JC’s other offerings, though I confess to liking almost everything from them but the original JC. This one kind of reminded me of Lucky No. 6, which smells a bit like a high end spa product to me.
There was a scent strip in a magazine I bought recently, and I too was surprised that I didn’t hate it
Really though, I think I’ll spray some on my skin if I come across a tester.

Love this! I’m crazy about color. Must have been a blast to art direct this. Haven’t tried the scent, though (I love the original JC…but I haven’t cared for the others).

Yes! It is all texture and color and happy music and clear, Alice in Wonderland skin.. I totally love the colors in this! I sampled this and got a blast of Herbal Essence shampoo. Then that went away and I don’t remember the rest because I was trying too many other fragrances (I have no control whatsoever and I basically asphyxiate myself every time I go into Nordstrom…)

I can’t believe I missed it when I saw it :/ I’m so slack. oh and I also remember thinking the bottle wasn’t all that fantastic

I finally picked up on the lemonade soda? sounding note in the Couture Couture review, but I got more of it from the cap of peace, love and couture
but it might not be that bad on skin.
and you mentioned Midnight Fantasy Britney Spears in the CoutureCouture review and I can make the connection.
I have a little story:
I went to my friend Rosie’s House for halloween this year (I’m gonna quote names or it gets confusing, there’s a few people in this) and Amy had it on. when I asked her what perfume she had on (I didn’t really think it was perfume but something just clinging to her like nasty bodylotion or something, but I didn’t want to offend) and she said midnight fantasy. because I’d had a tiny little bit to drink so wasn’t listening until they mentioned Brintey Spears perfume.
midnight smells nothing like original fantasy. or atleast what original fantasy USED to smell like. oh and another friend, Sarah also had it on (from Amy’s bottle ofcourse, Amy has the entire fantasy line (other than circus, she didn’t know about the launch of circus) and Sarah doesn’t buy brand perfume, she get’s it from the market or something) and I thought they had two different perfumes on they smelled so different.
Peace, Love & Juicy Couture is lemony, yes…don’t really think Couture, Couture is…it is more like grape fruit punch or something.
Yes, I love the grape note in Couture Couture and Midnight Fantasy and own a rollerball of the former and two bottles of the latter. I’m dying to find Angel Innocent Rock as it’s supposed to have a huge grape note in there, too, but haven’t had much luck even tracking down a sample at this point. But while I like JS Fancy lots more than BS’s original Fantasy, Midnight Fantasy is quite different and perhaps that’s why I like it with all the dark pulpy fruit and vanilla.
I also liked Lola much more than Daisy, too, for the same reason.
Lola is nicer than Daisy
I actually have a full 50ml bottle(well 90%full) of Daisy because I liked it when I first tried it, one of my perfume mistakes as I hate daisy now, there’s an uncomfortable note in there. I don’t know what I was thinking buying it in the first place! so I’m giving it away to a friend for 18th birthday in August next year, hope it doesn’t go off lol :/
but when I first tried Lola I couldn’t smell anything except a little bit of flowers but I had been trying some perfume in the shop before I tried Lola so that will be why. I’ll have to have another sniff. it didn’t last long on me either, but that might again be me not able to smell it.
