The first 15 minutes is a nice woody spicy blend, and the dry-down is surprisingly similar to Hermes Un Jardin en Mediterranee. Pleasant, yes. Terribly original? Maybe not.

Got to try this today – insta-love. Perfect for fall and winter, and different from most vetivers I have tried. Spicy, a little sweet, nicely comforting without being bland.

I might make all of you even more eager, the edt is superb!! i live in Belgium near the French border and crossed over to Lille a few weeks ago. A very nice SA gave me a decant of Coeur de VS and sprayed it on me. By the time I got home I was pulling my hair out for not buying it rightaway . So guess wat I did this morning? I drove to the Lille Printemps and bought the FB. Coeur de VS smells fresh and tingly at the beginning but then (heart notes) something subtly smoky and oriental appears. The beginning is a bit tricky , you have to let it rest a bit as it’s personality changes after about half an hour. A must try!

Oh, thanks! But must admit tags are applied rather haphazardly here…I’m good about brands & perfumers, not so good about things like fragrance family.
