Beyond that, it is, so far, not a terribly interesting diary — that is, they have not tied the scents to any compelling stories.

The trade mag Beauty Packaging was surprisingly critical of the Perfume Diaries Series – I can’t find the article online, but the jist of it was why would women want to wear someone else’s diary-inspired fragrance? The writer felt it was a big misstep in the brand.

Anyway, the first reminded me of a hybrid EL Sensuous, which I have.

Just echoing CynthiaW: Another one? Already? She should work on making a rollerball for Bare Skin, her first fragrance– which, might I add, is fantastic!

I’m glad to see this in a rollerball option, however. If the first two come in the same, I’d be curious to pick them up and could live with myself for dropping only $16 a piece. This sounds like a lovely citrus though I’m not huge into peony and wonder how dominant that particular note would be.
