Porsche Design Group will launch The Essence Summer Ice, a flanker to 2008′s Essence by Porsche Design, this month.
The woody citrus fragrance was designed by perfumer Anne Flipo, and features notes of arctical, lemon, mandarin, min, juniper berry, neroli and cedar.

Has anyone smelled the original Essence by Porsche? I just saw it for a song in TJ Maxx, and I know it’s received good reviews in some quarters, but I’d love another opinion before I make even a cheap unsniffed buy.

Ive smelled the original on paper only. I would call it sporty. I know that term scares a lot of readers here. If you can carefully open the packaging, you can try it for a few days and then rewrap it and return it if you dont like it. Ive done that a time or two with TJ Maxx and Marshalls purchases. Ive actually never kept one, now that i thnk about it.
