I’ll try them and come back to tell you. There’s a Phebo shop on my way to getting home after the work. Carnaval looks promising!

i wish i could try Carnaval too. i would so much like to find a scent that is real freesia, but no luck yet. tried demeter freesia and Ofresia from dyptique, lovely scents but not what I get from real freesia…

Agree, there really isn’t such a thing.

Not sure I’ll ever see these, but I think it was determined that this is the company that made Kevin’s famously beloved rosewood soap.

I think that’s right. They also made those adorable perfumes for Isabela Capeto.

Yes, they made that wonderful rosewood soap I loved, K

Kevin, is your beloved soap a dark one? If it’s the classical phebo, he is still produced here in Brazil. And it isn’t expensive.

I think that’s right. Phebo is a very famous soap maker in Brazil. They had, for years, an almost-black translucent soap that was the standard at my mother’s house. A bit later they created a whole line of differently-scented soaps, but I’m not sure how many of those still survive.

Maybe I can get one of my Brazilian friends to send me some bottles…

    They have a site:https://www.granado.com.br/produtos/default.aspx

To see the line of fragrances, lick on the homepage on the link Linha de Produtos, Perfumaria Phebo. It’ll open another page. Then you can see then on the session Perfume (or click on this link: https://www.granado.com.br/produtos/linha.aspx?cod_categoria=74&cod_linha=27). They cost 110 reais each one, which is around 63 dollars.
