Lol, nowadays the dress would be flung over a bedpost and the model would be languishing on a bed of petals of some sort.

Organza plays like a big floral on me too, and at any rate, no, it doesn't seem to match the ad. I kind of like the ad anyway. I realize these days that any ad that doesn't actively offend me makes me happy, LOL...

I would classify it as a soft oriental, mostly because of there is incense present, it will become dominant on my skin, and that's how Organza plays on me-- very sweet, heady flowers with powdery, almost Parfum Sacre-like, incense. Organza is spicier, though, to me. To be honest I'd never seen this ad, and I'm really quite surprised at the marketing vision. Organza is beautiful but I wouldn't really call it exotic.

From the ad I would assume that organza is a heavy oriental fragrance but my experience with it is that it is more of a white floral, no? I smell a lot of gardenia. On the other hand I guess you could argue that the gardenia is an extremely prized flower in the middle-east.

Mmm, I really like Organza. It somehow feels far too fancy for everyday wear, though. I like the ad, too, although there seems to be a bit of incongruence in the setting and her overall appearance. I feel like her hair should be down and tousled. If she were in a palace setting the whole thing would work perfectly, imo. :)
