Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2009, part 15

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US.

David Yurman Luxury Jewel CaseQuelques Fleurs L'Original Crystal Collector

From David Yurman, David Yurman Eau de Parfum in the Luxury Jewel Case edition (above left): “A 1.0 fl. oz. Eau de Parfum Spray is nestled within the soft, suede interior, designed not only to hold this fragrant jewel, but your collection of David Yurman jewelry as well. The case is accented with the David Yurman logo and closes securely with an invisible magnetic clasp. It can slip easily into any purse or weekend bag to accompany you on your worldly travels.” $75 at Neiman Marcus.

From Houbigant, Quelques Fleurs L’Original in the Crystal Collector edition (above right): “This collector’s piece was commissioned by Exclusive Fragrances and Cosmetics Inc. and is a numbered, limited-edition piece. The fragrance includes a signature Houbigant Paris hang tag and Quelques Fleurs box. There are only 20 of these magnificent pieces world wide, all hand-painted and signed by the artist, an owner/family member.” 100 ml, $1600, also at Neiman Marcus.

Cartier Delices limited edition

From Cartier, a limited edition bottle of Délices de Cartier: “This whimsical vision is sinfully dressed in gold and red, the colors of passion and scandal, pulsating and playful as it touches the skin.” In 50 ml Eau De Parfum, $100 at Saks.

Estee Lauder Beautiful Bouquet solid perfumeBy Kilian gold travel spray

Also at Saks, a solid perfume in Estee Lauder Beautiful: “Designed exclusively for Estée Lauder and Saks Fifth Avenue. The fragrance of a thousand flowers, here in a golden bouquet like never before. Gleams with lush green-enamel stems and twinkling pink crystals. Limited edition collectible opens to reveal Beautiful in long-lasting solid perfume.” $300.

From By Kilian, a gold edition of their travel spray (you can see the regular black edition here). Not sure this one comes with any perfume, but it’s 50€ at Printemps in Paris.

First of all Quelques Fleurs makes me about gag….nuff said.
Estee Lauder scents don’t do well on me but those narcissus are just gorgeous!
Damn that By Killian….the only fragrance I even like a little is Cruel Intentions….and that travel spray is AMAZING!!! It’d almost be best if it came EMPTY—-so I could put something I really liked in it……but that’s pretty spendy for an empty atomizer…the bastards!

You know that’s a solid compact, right? And the bottle on the right is from By Kilian. Just realized I didn’t put the (shown above right) label there, sorry!

Oh yeah I did know that, sorry for saying that it’s a bottle. Sometimes my mind likes to combine words for the way they look:
“bouquet bottle” looks better to me than “bouquet compact”
        Yeah I told you I’m weird…..

No worries — just hoped I wasn’t unclear in the text.

Aaaaahhhhh! Wantity want want! And the Printemps website is execrable. Might this be something Bergdorf’s would HAVE? Say, in Manhattan? She said hopefully.

Isn’t that website absurd? Le Bon Marche’s is only very slightly better — department stores in France do not seem to care about online shoppers.

I did not know it was at Bergdorfs, but since somebody bought it there it’s worth a phone call!

Looove the bouquet of narcissus! Very cute. The Delices de Cartier looks like it has something splattered on it, though.

Maybe it’s from all the playful pulsating. Ick. Doesn’t that just make me want to put that thing near my skin…

‘Wordly travels’??? Are they talking Tiger Woods in Melbourne here? Is there anyone in perfume-ad-land who understands the English language?
