Where did you find them? I went to B&BW today hoping to give them a sniff and they didn’t have them out yet. The SA looked at me like she had no idea what I was talking about when I asked about them too.

I can’t imagine peppermint and ginger together. I would like to smell this out of curiosity.

I’m honestly not a big fan of the Winter Lemon. The original Lemon EDP wasn’t the greatest either.

I LOVE the Ginger Mentha though. It smells a lot more ginger than mint. Elixir white smelled okay, but it was weirdly strong.

LOL…my guess is that you’re putting way more thought and logic into this than they are. They probably mean “velvety figs that would smell good in a perfume in winter”.

ummm. . . I have a fig tree in my yard, and “velvet winter figs” are a FIGment of somebody’s imagination. Figs don’t develop in winter, not even in warm climates. Unless they mean the crop of berbas (a weird habit of figs to produce a crop of small pre-figs that drop off the tree when they are the size of match-heads) that come in very early Spring. Huh. I must be too literal. I’m done with fig fragrances, though.

The Mint/Ginger sounds sinus-clearing and unpleasant at the same time. The third one in the odd bottle, though, might be kind of interesting.

alltheprettythings, I can totally relate, only with me it was ginger Altoids. It’s unfortunate because I bought one of the Burberry colognes for my hubby, and ended up not being able to be too close to him when he wore it because of the huge ginger note.

I like the Bigelow Lemon EDP, though it has the strength of an EDT on me, and think the other two look good, especially the Winter Lemon. If they make a Lemon Pomegranate I’ll buy it in a heartbeat. I love that line of Bigelow products.
