Daisy this response has been a long time coming- sorry!
As the owner of the scents of tmem range I want to answer your question onwhyow NIGHT STAR is termed a fragrance of the future. If you have time read the booklet on NIGHT STAR on the website http://www.scentsoftime.co.uk- all will be revealed- including the reference to the Little Prince All 5 scentsoftime m fragrances come with a 24-30 page boolet explaining how they were lost, found and re-created from Formulae/stories/findings linked to Pompeii, Cleopatra, Tutankhamen, The Maya of Yucatan and RMS Titanic (Night Star) Hope this helps.

Maybe it would have been better to say that Sheldrake is one of my most admired perfumers. Really, if you look at my top 10 favorite fragrances they do come from a variety of perfumers. But when you start to expand that list to not just my Desert Island fragrances but to that amorphous group known only as ‘my favorites’ (which not only ranges 30-50 bottles but changes daily in ranking) Sheldrakes creations pop up with increasing frequency. Plus I’m not only referring to perfumes I love to wear but to perfumes I recognize as being interesting, intriguing and different….that doesn’t mean I’m spraying them all over my person. Does this make any sense?
anyhow, I have several “favorite” perfumers……ask me tomorrow and I might say Olivia Giacobetti (I’m so fickle)
