Did not recognize the name Leslie Blodgett from the infomercials. I would probably have avoided it if I had known, as that's not an "image " (hard sell , faux-chat infomercial) that appeals to me. I was simply drawn to it because it was new to me. I gave it a spritz and and was immediately intrigued. Pepper in the top and a nice, almost strange, but ultimately easy-to-wear, gentle spiciness through and through. As al theprettythings says, there is *nothing* tropical about it. I wouldn't call it beachy, either--though it wears well in hot weather. Not sweet, not gourmand. I would call it a highly wearable, inoffensive, close-to-the skin, gently spicy, not too feminine oriental. There is something strange (in a good way) about it. The black pepper is front and center in the opening and the orchid comes out a few minutes after applying - not too sweet and certainly not gourmand. Interesting.
