Vera Wang Rock Princess ~ new fragrance

Vera Wang will launch Rock Princess, a limited edition flanker to 2006′s Vera Wang Princess, this coming April under the tag line “You Rock….the music, the spirit, the new fragrance”. The new “dark” fruity floral fragrance follows last year’s Flower Princess limited edition.

Rock Princess was developed by perfumer Calice Becker, and the notes include white peach, raspberry, bergamot, heliotrope, rose, night-blooming jasmine, lily, cashmere woods, musk, iris and creamy coconut.

Vera Wang Rock Princess will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching body lotion. (via wwd)

Do rockstars smell like white peach, raspberry, and creamy coconut?

Reminds me of “Rock Muse” by Miss Sixty – a big sell in drugstores

Yes — but this one seems more sophisticated, doesn't it? Not saying it is — never tried anything by Miss Sixty & it isn't like the Princess scents so far have been what I'd call sophisticated!

Vera Wang always disappoints me, but I love that bottle!

Oh Vera, boo! How can someone who makes such unique wedding dresses make such predictable fragrances?

Well the teenagers will have a field day.

I can;t WAIT to smell this! I love Vera Wang Princess, LOOK and I hope I love this one. I was dissapointed with Vera Wang Flower Princess. YUCK!

We're opposites — I liked Flower Princess better than regular. Hope this is better than either!

She makes dependably nice but conventional fragrances, most of which disappoint me too.

Are her wedding dresses unconventional? I really don't know much about them.

If only dark flankers actually smelled dark, not like what a 13-year-old thinks is sexy.

I do, however, want to see that bottle in person. Do you think it really looks like a diamond?

Well, if Vera's dresses were perfume, they'd be Amouage or Parfums MDCI, beautiful and unbelievably expensive! I think her wedding dresses start at 6 grand…..

Maybe it will be comparatively dark — dark for a rock princess? I'd like to see it in person too, or at least see a picture on a white background.

Interesting. Well, maybe like many brands, much of the brand's profit is coming from the perfume so it needs to have a wider appeal.

It won't. I want it, so that means May :( . I thought March again, and I come here and it's April. Grrrrr, I'm pissed!

LOL — is that how it works, the more you want it, the longer it takes to launch?

i found it at macys today and i really like it. its by far the best from the princess line. im madly in love with the bottle! its very rock n roll. the scent, not so much. it reminds me of valentinos rock n rose which wasnt edgy in the least. its a nice scent though. the fruits are tart and the florals really dominate it. i found it definately more floral then fruity. its like a cross between rock n rose and harajuku lovers love. id purchase it just for the bottle though. its to die for!

I just purchased this perfume and I LOVE IT!!!!! At first, I wasn’t sure, so I let it dry and continued browsing at my local ULTA and I found once it “dried down” it was AMAZING! I love the bottle too, an added bonus, it’s so cute but the scent itself is my new signature, I love it! Although it’s not for everyone.
