Jennifer Lopez Sunkissed Glow ~ new fragrance

J Lo Sunkissed Glow perfumeJennifer Lopez will launch Sunkissed Glow, a new fragrance for women, in February. Sunkissed Glow is the singer’s fourth flanker to 2002’s Glow, a fragrance often credited with spearheading the modern celebrity fragrance trend (see also: Miami Glow, Love at First Glow and Glow After Dark).

Sunkissed Glow is a fruity floral “evoking the feeling of warm sand on skin”, and features notes of red grapefruit, pineapple juice, cassis sorbet, beach flower, orange blossom, water lily, passion flower, amber, hot sand, cashmere wood and skin musk.

J Lo Sunkissed Glow will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette, in the standard Glow bottle finished with a seashell charm bracelet. (via moodiereport)

Update: Sunkissed Glow was developed by perfumer Caroline Sabas, who also created Jennifer Lopez Miami Glow. (via press release)

Another update: see a review of J Lo Sunkissed Glow.

I will smell it when it comes out but this doesn't sound very interesting. She's already come out with 2 other beachy scents, Deseo and Miami Glow. Not very interesting.
    What is beach flower?

It sounds very similar to MIAMI GLOW…

    just minus the coconut.

I liked Miami Glow — thought it was too bad they discontinued. Wish they'd just bring that one back instead of redoing the beach theme!

And “beach flower” — I assume that's made up.

Is that really J-Lo on the print ad? My reading glasses aren't the cleanest, but it looks like a heavily-Photoshopped Barbra Streisand to me.

Yeah, but have a feeling it will be fresher. Think I'd prefer the coconut…

I didn't realize Miami Glow was discontinued? I just bought a JLo coffret with Glow, Miami Glow, Deseo, and Glow After Dark, in 10 ml roll-ons for $22 CAD…

Well — supposedly it was limited edition, but I've actually heard of other recent “sightings” so perhaps they started making it again…

Loved Miami Glow–I'm eager to try this one.
I wonder what the bottle will look like in real life. I admired the colorful Live bottle, although I think I was one of the very few.
    Thanks for the update!

She always looks like she's been photoshopped to death…but then, so do they all ;-)

To Miami Glow fans: I've seen it at Walgreen's drugstores lately. (Where it seems to sell out fast.)

Yeah, and I think I've heard Target now too. For awhile there it was impossible to find…

I hope it will be easy to find, too. I never even laid eyes on Live Platinum.

the ad seems like it was originally part of the deseo ad campaign. it looks fun and i really love the coloring of the bottle. its like gwen stefanis L. the notes seem promising to me. i love beachy scents and i really enjoyed her miami glow, deseo, and deseo forever. miami glow was the first scent i ever bought for myself so im kinda really excited about this one. grapefruit, pineapple, amber, and hot sand sounds quite wonderful to me. cant wait!

Robin, so its confirmed this will be out in the U.S in Feb? I read last month that it would be released internatially in Feb and no release date was set for the U.S. I also read this WAS Miami Glow

I found Platinum in Duane Reades drugstore when I was in NYC.

It's never been included on J.Lo's fragrance site http://www.jenniferlopezbeauty.com, though (All of her other LE fragrances have), which is a shame.

Platinum has been her best flanker.

I even like it more then the original Live…

As for this; I'll try it, as I quite liked Miami Glow. I agree about preferring the coconut notes though.

It really does, doesn't it? Wonder if they shot it at the same time.

Well, no — I don't know where it will be distributed, sorry! If it turns out to be identical to Miami Glow that will be funny — that certainly isn't in any of the release information I've seen.

That's pretty telling though — that it didn't even make it into dept stores like Macys.

Yes, this are the Deseo ads. Guess they didn't wanna throw this one out. I wouldn't either. She looks beautiful

I think that Glow is really nice – certainly not what I expected from her. I love Still and Miami Glow and thought it was a shame that they were limited edition/ discontinued! i think it's been said on here before but she should have definitely kept Miami Glow.

Haven't even seen Live Platinum here…

seems they're bringing loads out but only Deseo grabbed my attention.

I don't know what the deal was w/ LP — didn't seem to go into widespread distribution. Agree about MG!

They put the Deluxe Edition of Luscious Pink on the Macy's website!!!!! It should be coming soon. New York already has theirs!!!!!!

I thought it was already out…but haven't looked for it because I haven't been to the mall in ages.

When Luscious Pink came out i couldn't wait to smell (buy!) it but Mariah's deluxe editions don't appeal to me as they should! does the gold one smell any different to M?

I looked for it in Debenhams (I think it's exclusive to Debenhams here) in several diff towns and each time the tester was empty…doh! and at £36 it was too expensive to just buy!

I never smelled the gold edition, but from what I heard it was just a stronger version…
