Chere Louise smells almost exactly like a local woodsman's bug dope! I never checked to see if it worked as well, lol. I really wasn't thrilled with any of them, but the packaging is so cute, and at that price, I don't mind just lining them up on a shelf and looking at them. I also got a very cute bag with my purchase. I do like the company, and find their ad copy fun and amusing. But, I too love Lutens' hyperbole! I think the Crazy sticks are fun and cute enough without them giving you bags or inserts that say "Kiss my Skin!" or "Oh la la!" or some such. That's just me, though.
