Crazylibellule & The Poppies Vanilla Orangette and Vanilla Ganache ~ new fragrances

Crazylibellule & The Poppies Vanilla Orangette and Vanilla Ganache

Crazylibellule & The Poppies has added two new fragrances to their Poule de Luxe collection of twist-up solid perfumes, Vanilla Orangette and Vanilla Ganache:

Vanilla Orangette ~ “I know – you’d do anything to bite into me! Wait a minute… smell that extraordinary fragrance. Candied orange, hazelnut slivers and bergamot zest. Shut your eyes! There, that’s so much better. Yep, I know you’ve got a soft spot for me. Oops! Must dash.”

Vanilla Ganache ~ “You’re late, My Love. Truly irritating… I’ll console myself in the arms of another. The fragrant touch of oval cocoa bean, blackberry and pink peach are by far more appealing than you. No, don’t look at me like that, or if you must then shower me with scent.”

Crazylibellule & The Poppies Vanilla Orangette and Vanilla Ganache are available in 5g solid perfume; 12€ each. They can be purchased now at the Crazylibellule & The Poppies website. (via crazylibellule)

Oh, so cuuuuute! And so delightfully inexpensive. In fact, on the $100-is-the-new-free scale, you’re saving money one every purchase!

LOL — exactly — it’s cheaper than free!

The ad copy on these always make feel insane – but since I enjoy so many of the scents, the packaging is sweet and handy, and they’re cheaper than free, I’m willing to overlook it.

Exactly. If they’re this cheap, they can say what they like so long as they at least tell the notes — and they did. I want to try that Orangette.

At least the ad copy is kind of fun and not pretentious. I’d like to try the Orangette also. I really like their packaging — I’m looking forward to trying out my Chere Louise in the cooler weather.

      Agree on both counts!

I guess I kind of prefer copy that *is* pretentious in a ridiculous, oblivious, over-the-top sort of way, like Humieki & Graef or some Serge Lutens press releases. I think the Crazy sticks are fun and cute enough without them giving you bags or inserts that say “Kiss my Skin!” or “Oh la la!” or some such. That’s just me, though.

LOL … I hear you. I do enjoy that ridiculous pretentious quality of the Lutens press releases!

This line’s so adorable! I really want to try these and for the price, why not? The real problem is deciding which to try first. Both of these are *really* tempting, but I’ve read they’ve got a really good incense frag as well.

Oooh, yes, the incense frag (Encens Mystic) is a lovely winter treat.

I love the sound of these… i ordered a few crazylibellule scents a few days ago and they just arrive. So much fun and so affordable! That new orangette is going on my list :)

So glad you like your new scents! Which ones did you get?

I finally bought a bunch of these at the beginning of the summer. Chere Louise smells almost exactly like a local woodsman’s bug dope! I never checked to see if it worked as well, lol. I really wasn’t thrilled with any of them, but the packaging is so cute, and at that price, I don’t mind just lining them up on a shelf and looking at them. I also got a very cute bag with my purchase. I do like the company, and find their ad copy fun and amusing. But, I too love Lutens’ hyperbole!

What a shame — I loved Chere Louise! Maybe it will keep away the bugs in the end :-)
