I received a bottle of ST Dupont pour femme and I cannot understand why a company would think it could sell such a thing. It is simply fragrance noise. The correspondent of overload fashion. The market is over-generous with boring (and pungent) stuff - the proof is they dare to come up with another catastrophe.

I came across this yesterday in some perfume counter. It's sweet fruity-floral in the first stage, that all remains is some rose and musky smell, no suprise, it's kinda boring when the market is flooded with rose-scented fragrance~ and the lasting power on me is....mei......around an hour? for a edp that's kind disappointing, while my infusion d'iris lasted for an entire night ( i can still smell it when i woke up today lol)....

Twice, yes, but third time, my tongue went on strike and I just made a sort of whistling sound. The pink bottle I woujld like to see in real life, just to see whether it doesn't REALLY look like a toothpaste and brush holder, or a manicure set, or something else from the $2 dollar shop. :-) :-)

I of course realize it's an entirely different company, Bela. I was merely commenting that the huge American corporation we know as DuPont has unfortunate associations.

I'd probably sniff something called Smoldering Jungle - but not the Eau d'Agent Orange.

Dupont is a very well-known and highly respected brand name in France: (as Robin mentions below) it instantly conjures up beautiful lighters and luxurious fountain pens. My mother's lighter (black lacquer and gold - from the 1930s) got lost in one of my house moves. I wish I still had it (not to use, but to wonder at). Nothing unfortunate about that name at all.
