Samples do show up, but generally none of the new releases, at least not for a while. I tried the Pure Oud too and find it very wearable and smooth. $395 is a bit much. I have also read on Basenotes from a Middle Eastern poster that he thinks Montale's Original Aouds is a dead ringer for the Kilian Pure Oud and only costs $150. I find that difficult to believe since Montale oud tends to be quite medicinal (at least for the first 1/2 hour or so), but hey, it's worth a try!
