Interesting. I wouldn’t have guessed Mira Nair was the director. Love her, though her collaborration with Thurman (and Juliette Lewis) on her HBO film “Hysterical Blindness” a few years back was really awful.
Is it true the original Ange ou Démon is total crap? I think I’ve read some truly horrific things about it.
I don’t know if it’s crap, but I kind of like the body creme of the original AoD. The drydown is immediately apparent (rich, gourmand floral). I tried the juice and it was hit or miss every time I tried.
I really disliked it.
Then it’s total crap.
HA…probably the opposite.
It’s not total crap but just kind of smells like they mixed some of their other stuff together and watered it down. I have a huge amount of it (gift) and wear it sometimes and it’s fine. I do very well in most Givenchy scents, though, so I am probably not the best person to ask.
Am I the only one who thinks this is a lot of hoopla over a flanker?
I really felt assaulted by the original, so I’m not sure Uma’s going to make me change my mind.
It’s more hoopla than they made over the original, I think. Which I assume means the original did not do well and they’d like to recoup some of their losses?
The only thing I got out of this was gritted teeth from the annoying (to put it mildly) ‘singing’ going on the whole time in the background.
Jaded T
Sorry. Unclench those teeth
Uma has always had a certain grace about her, even when she’s holding a sword. This campaign is really cool. Go Uma….
I have AoD in both EDP and Parfum and keep them in the guest bath. The parfum is definitely more wearable.
And I never tried the extrait…
