When it starts it is strong on the spearmint, and the rest of the notes conjure up something like a cola drink, or a hint of licorice….. then come the rest of the notes, I can certainly smell them all with cinnamon and the ” Medjool date” (I’ve mostly tried candied-preserve dates but this is nice, it reminds me a bit of the date note on Globe de Rochas) and the saffron. In the end I smell what I want to believe is tolu balm (something like peru balm) and the rest is just a mix, the balm overruns and last longer than the rest.
Too foody and tangy for me, but I can imagine a lot of people liking it. I believe it is a fragrance that doesn´t cost much to make, but at the same time does not smell “cheap” at all, so kudos to Lapidus.
