Oh dear – tested Epic Woman yesterday and absolutely adored it. It starts off a lot like Bois d’Encens – dark heavy wood and incense, a lot of medicinal green – then softens into a spicy, sweet, incense-y floral. Very Arabian Nights. The men’s one smelled even more striking, but I didn’t test it on skin. Trouble was that 100ml cost £165 (50ml was available, but cost £135, which hardly seemed worth it.) I had to make myself walk out of Harrods step by step.

To make up for it, I managed to pick up a replacement bottle of Cuir Ottoman for £30 in Harvey Nicks. I kind of wish I’d bought two now.

I am really excited about trying this one. I have been wearing oud scents like crazy lately. Incense, wood and oud…Yum!
