I turned 50 on the 9Th, and my 30something niece asked me, “How does one get to be fifty with no wrinkles on your face?) It made my year. But when I was 25 I started a habit of wearing sunscreen everyday. ?????
Helena in the 70s and 80s had one of the first mouse/conditioner. You could only get it in a salon. It made my hair shimmer with shine. I wish, or hope, they still make it somewhere. Her scent should be good if they have maintained a high standard.

Helena Rubenstein – there’s name from the past! I remember a fragrance called Herbessence, but I don’t think I ever smelled it.

I agree also. She doesn’t have that weird look some of the celebs [and some everyday folk too] have who have gone over the top with botox, etc. I think she makes a fine spokesmodel for the 40+ crowd – I just wish they wouldn’t ruin the image by airbrushing her to death. Again, I think she looks more beautiful than ever.

In that industry, who are you going to find over 40 that hasn’t had work done? It’s kind of par for the course. And at least she still looks like a human being. She doesn’t seem to have had any real extreme work done.

Here in Europe HR mostly known for skincare targetting mature skins and their mascaras are as succesfull as those of Lancôme. Italy and Japan are their strongest market.
L’Oreal (HRs mother company) tried a US releach a few years ago, but pulled out after 2 years.
