The samples came in the little fabiric-y blotter things – similar to Avon samples. But the Japanese Agarwood was wonderful for all of the 10 minutes I could smell it.

stranger than fiction is a great movie!
I also liked the writer character.
And some thoughts on the phrase “Little did he know…” I don’t know English that very well so those insights were quite helpful. (I watched it in English)

The wrist is a pulse point, like the neck. Doesn’t applying to pulse points help distribute the scent? I think the issue for me is washing my hands probably eliminates the scent pretty quickly.

Hmmm… maybe the habit came from the time when men would kiss the back of a woman’s hand instead of shaking hands. In that case, he would get a nice whiff during the process. Where I apply depends on how strong the scent it – major sillage, it gets a discreet dab on the wrists and maybe the nape of the neck; midrange sillage gets the wrists, neck, cleavage; light sillage (think “splash” scents) gets the wrist, neck, cleavage, behind the knees, and my hair.

I think that Tuberose Gardenia has decent sillage, but it fades sort of quickly from my skin, so I tend to hit my hair and some fabric so it lasts longer.
