The Accademia del Profumo in Italy has announced the winners of their 20th annual perfume awards:
Best Women’s Fragrance: Chanel No. 5 Eau Première
Best Men’s Fragrance: Chanel Allure Homme Édition Blanche

I don’t follow this sort of thing generally. But I love Chanel No5 Eau Premiere so I graciously bestow a nod of approval upon the Accademia del Profumo Awards (I’m sure they are thrilled)

Although I’ve been reading NST for quite some time, I just registered. Chanel No.5 has never been my thing, but the Eau Premiere seems to be getting a LOT of buzz. Is it significantly different?
Yes, it’s much more modern and I think many people find it easier to wear….but it’s still quite nicely done.
