I hate Patchouli fragrances, but for some reason since i love the Reminiscence line, decided to order this one. I LOVE it, its a sweet earthy patchouli scent, not dark and dirty as a lot of the are.

You know, I wouldn’t have called myself a serious patch hag, but I suppose my perfume cabinet tells the true story. The Patch Noir I’m wearing is from Il Profumo. Now you have me going after yet another! I also really love the Patchouly Dolce (Profumi di Firenze), it might be too sweet for some people, I think it’s softened with tonka.

Hello, I think there are two Patch Noirs — I’ve been wearing the one from Il Profumo, but I believe there’s another. I think it has a wonderfully rich, woodsy aspect to it, and that soft, vegetal chocolate thing going on. The Dolce and Rosso are from I Profumi di Firenze. The sudden chill in the spring air had me really longing for patchouli!

same here. Jalaines patchouli is the only ‘patchouli’ named fragrance I adore. I will say that 90-95% of my fragrances have patch in the base. I guess it like drinking coffee, i can’t drink mine black

I am not a patch freak by any means & have not even heard of the second 2 you mention. It is not as spicy as the Histoires de Parfums Patchouli Noir, and doesn’t have that leather note.
