hi all. Just a quick comment on the bottle: i was just browsing the bay, and came across several editions of Nina Ricci’s Capricci. Lo and behold: one of them is remarkably similar to Lola’s bottle! only less, eh, gaudy perhaps. (google images also provides examples)

The next time I’m at a duty free a bottle of daisy will be mine! I could order it online, but i like the store-feeling. I think I will buy three little bottles for my summer perfume-wardrobe: Daisy, Eau des Merveilles and Omnia green jade. Hopefully this will last till next fall and then we’ll see.

was just commenting on the above remark about Mr. Jacobs Fashions! Personally i couldn’t agree more with you… I would never wear anything Thierry Mugler, But LOVE LOVE LOVE his fragrances with an Unholy Passion! As i did say, Marc Jacobs and Blush are VERY VERY well done, The Eponymous Fragrance Verges on Genius (although he aped The idea TOTALLY from Michael Kors whoms Eponymous Fragrance came out the year before his!) so no matter what dreck he produces clothes wise… if the fragrance rocks, I love it. Just that Lola Bottle is Obscenely UGLY! that i stick to!

Whatever Happened to Marc Jacobs Blush? I thought that was an EXCELLENTLY Done Fragrance! His Eponymous Fragrance for women is DYNAMITE as well, Just so DEWY! Daisy, Eh…. Innocuous enough and nothing to write a Epic Poem About, but a good fragrance nonetheless, this Lola sounds quite nice though, However that Bottle HAS TO DIE! OH BABY JESUS LORD! could that thing be anymore Tcotchke Hideous? EGADS! I don’t care if that stuff smelled like Chanel No.5, Jardins De Bagatelle and Joy all wrapped in one… I could not justify buying that ATROCIOUS Bottle for anyone! YIKES AND GADZOOKS! and how often do you really get to say Yikes and Gadzooks in everday conversation!?!?! LOL! I am tiring of Marc Jacobs anyway… he seems to be this Fashion DARLING for what? his clothes are Inventive and intersting, sure, but oft times veer on the absolutely loony side of eccentric. I Just don’t get it!
