Hugo Boss in general has both appealing and dull fragrances for me - Deep Red being my favorite, it works really well with my chemistry, lingers on my skin and clothes forever and gets me compliments every single time. Boss Orange, however, strikes me as different from the other ones (although I've only smelled XX once or twice and not on my skin, so I can't draw a fair comparison), it doesn't strike me as dull, but it doesn't particularly stand out either. It's actually bothering me because I got a bottle and I can't decide whether I want to return it or not. For some reason there's something in Boss Orange that vaguely reminds me of Burberry for Women (the sandalwood, maybe?), even though they are completely different fragrances. It's like I want to like it and there is something about it I do like, but also something in it that bothers me and I'm not sure which note that is. Boss Orange stays longer on the skin (my skin), the other scents of Boss disappear within a few minutes. I love Hugo XX for woman, but as said it is gone within a very short time.
