Anyhow, I'd just like to say from a guy's standpoint this is a great scent. My girlfriend wears it and it is really captivating. I can sense a variety of notes yet it never overwhelms. Musk and sandalwood are definitely there giving it a woody fragrance. I also have noticed the more fruity opening when she puts it on more recently rather than having had it on for a while. I don't think any vanilla was intended but I occasionally catch a hint of what seems to be it. Overall, it's a comforting scent that never grows dull for me. Although I think what's most important is the girl behind the smell and maybe that's what's doing it for me. I wonder if people still read these old posts. So, on Halle's website they advertise a picture of the 6.7 lotion that I can't find ANYWHERE! The only place I've seen it is on ebay and it had been a while since one surfaced. The only other Halle lotions I've seen were in the sets and those are 2.5 ozs. So, I e-mail COTY and ask them where can I purchase the lotion. They e-mail me back and say that they don't sell the lotion in a 6.7 oz and that I'll have to get a set to get the small lotion. Why would they say that and advertise it on the same website? So, one pops on ebay again and I buy it. It was cheap. The lotion is DISGUSTING! IT BARELY SMELLS LIKE HALLE! It's the worst fragrance lotion I've ever bought! Something told me it would be bad because when the press release was released COTY said that they would sell the lotion for 12 bucks! This lotion is freakin' disgusting. I mean, it isn't watery but it just doesn't smell like Halle! It's thick like I like my lotions, it just doesn't sell anything like the scent! I can't believe COTY! Ugh, Robin!
