Spanish house Loewe has launched I Loewe You Tonight, a new variation on 2005’s I Loewe You:
Adolescent, nightlife, music, fun and the feeling of being “The Dancing Queen”.
Without forgetting the origin of the fragrance and the values that inspired it, its candour and innocence are transformed into slightly more audacious and rebellious.
The fragrance notes feature tangerine, bergamot, blackberry, pear, clove, jasmine, magnolia, peony, cyclamen, patchouli, muguet, sandalwood, musk and amber.
Loewe I Loewe You Tonight is available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette; the bottle’s design was inspired by a disco ball. (via loewe, additional information via first-in-fragrance)

To make this name work, they should really include a pronunciation guide for “Loewe”! I *think* it’s “low-ay-vay,” right? It’s the “w” that stumps me, since Spanish doesn’t have that letter.
The Loewe family was originally from Germany IIRC…I have no idea how they pronounce it in Spain!
They spell it the German way , like a double v, instead of love it’s like loeve..

Loewe seem to have got the idea that it’s quite cute to use the name in a phrase (the last one was just ‘I Loewe you’, wasn’t it?). But if it’s German, presumably the name is pronounced ‘live-eh’, and ‘I live-eh you’ just sounds daft to me. In my head I hear it as ‘lieu-eh’, which when it’s stuck between ‘I’ and ‘You’ sounds like it’s being said by someone who’s just been to the dentist and has a numb tongue. I wish they’d go back to sensible names like Gala and Aire!

I loke theirs fashion and accessoires and the notes sounds good – pear and cyclamen are great! But after all I got afraid of perfumes who have so many notes in it. They are not nice to me anymore.
The longer I have perfume the more I am thrilled when I recognize all notes, and the best scents to me have not much more then six notes.
But you have to remember that the number of notes listed isn’t related to the number of notes in the formula…how specific they get in the ad copy is just a matter of PR, not how many notes there are. A fragrance that lists 6 notes could have 20, or 30, or, for that matter, 3…
