I tried Velvet Hour today and was quite scared when it first went on - a bit sticky / sweet / powdery, but am really enjoying the drydown now which I would have described as "smoky woods" and have since read that there is indeed a woody base, also patchouli and incense. I'd still call it sweet at this point, but it really is getting "under my skin" - it has that sultry vibe that Jasmin Noir has, but in a cheaper, more hippyish way. But I think I am connecting with my inner cheapo hippy as I type!

Have not seen this yet and keep meaning to try Velvet Hour - someone told me that it really isn't too bad, all things considered.

Wow -- that's quite a free gift. The line still isn't in the US (other than a few discounters)

It is oddly unsummery. Except that it does appear to be warm enough for her to go outside in her nightie.
