Well, I just put this on my to-try list, since I like the sound of some of those notes. I don't have any celeb fragrances yet – maybe this will be the one! Better Kate than Paris! Sorta.

I found Kate Moss (the original 'fume) in Boots the other day, being given away as a free gift with any 100ml scent purchase. Doesn't suggest it's doing very well.

Does anyone really still care about her?

She used to be like my favorite celebrity in the entire universe and I barely even remembered that she existed

Somebody must, or Coty would not bother making perfumes in her name :-)

What she's wearing doesn't look very summertime.

I hate to say but that photo of Kate in her slip calls to mind Farrah Fawcett when she was slipping.

I do rather question the ad…..to me it looks a little like she's staggering for the bathroom the morning after a real bender….but it's a small picture here, so maybe closer up she looks sexy and suggestive….right now all I'm seeing is woozy and hungover…..and of course there's my regular aversion to celebriscents…..but I'll go give it a sniff in the interests of fairness.

Being one of the few who actually liked her first fragrance, I'm keen on trying this flanker. It's bound to go on “special offer” and not be very pricey, also if I don't care for it I can always re-gift beauty items to my teen sisters.

It is oddly unsummery. Except that it does appear to be warm enough for her to go outside in her nightie.

Wow — that's quite a free gift. The line still isn't in the US (other than a few discounters)

Have not seen this yet and keep meaning to try Velvet Hour – someone told me that it really isn't too bad, all things considered.

her first two are both nice, velvet hour is quite peppery – makes a nice change as a going out perfume

    Peppery sounds nice, thanks.

I tried Velvet Hour today and was quite scared when it first went on – a bit sticky / sweet / powdery, but am really enjoying the drydown now which I would have described as “smoky woods” and have since read that there is indeed a woody base, also patchouli and incense. I'd still call it sweet at this point, but it really is getting “under my skin” – it has that sultry vibe that Jasmin Noir has, but in a cheaper, more hippyish way. But I think I am connecting with my inner cheapo hippy as I type!

LOL at “inner cheapo hippy” — I need to connect with mine as well!

    That sounds pretty nice though.
