I did not see that episode that I can remember -- one of these days, mean to sit down & watch them all! You're right though, the target market isn't likely to know the show.

No potential purchaser will be old enough to be unnerved by the memory of the haunting foreboding surrounding this song's original airing. This nine-year-old (in 1964) is super creeped out to hear the tune again.

The voice-over at the end says something about a financial solution always being near. Whatevs. I adore creative commercials as much as I loathe the pushy, run-of-the-mill ones - and I'll always be happy to see this one.

This one was inspired both by the company's logo (a couple holding an umbrella) and by a Magritte painting, the one with all the floating men in bowler hats.

I think it's a beautiful commercial!

IMO, it looks a bit like the Sony Bravia videos (the one with the balls).

Here in Belgium, there is a lot of buzz around it! They created the story of Kevin Polof (anagram of Love of Pink :) ), a guy who is desperately looking for a girl he met in the train. When the girl left the train, she forgot her pink scarf on her seat. That's for the story...

That guy put posters in the streets, pink scarves on statues... It's very poetic and the whole Belgian press is currently talking about it. Do they do the same in other countries?

For example, here is the link to one beautiful video they released: http://www.vimeo.com/2826182 ... Now I recognize the girl from the commercial and make the link with all those artistic activities!

And here is the link to the blog they created: http://www.20jours.be but it is in french...

Anyway, if you see that kind of pink activities in your countries, it could be for Love of Pink!
