A series of perfumes to reflect her most famous roles and one - yes, Bandit! - to reflect the fabulously feisty lady herself. Bette sums up the 'old' attitude to perfumery to me - she had character and personality and yes you might hate her, but there was enough of her to truly adore. Nowadays it's all focus-grouped to mediocrity and the lowest common denominator. (Fruity floral for Garbo? Bah! Humbug! A crackling eau de cologne, dry and sparkling citrus or cool chypre, yes.)
