having worked in production for 25 years I had to giggle – most producers would've brained her with that statue – but it's an hysterical concept, nonetheless.
At least they didn't have the producer throwing himself on the King, though it sounds like a definite possibility. I'm falling in love with this campaign and am going to get the spritz for a chef friend. Just gotta.
I really like this ad too! And agree it's a shame they aren't selling it at BK, but guess the actual product is sort of besides the point — the marketing is working fine even if they never sell a single bottle, right? They've gotten TONS of press.
Oh no! The video is no longer available?? The site is HILARIOUS, thanks for posting the link!! I thought I was going to DIE with the whipped cream… ACK! Just too funny. I can't believe it's a real product! I may have to get some.
It's kind of hysterical to read some the non-fragrance blog reactions to this campaign, or really, to the idea of this being a fragrance at all. There's a lot of faux-disgust and snarking going on, which I suspect happened because it's the easiest way to react. Moreover, I suspect that reaction was exactly what Burger King was looking for.
My first thought was, OMG, eventually we might be able to wear a full course of meals on our skin one day… now I can start with a BK Flame in the afternoon, and finish with a Ben & Jerry's Waffle Cone in the evening? But I'm missing breakfast! Where's my Denny's Moons Over My Hammy fragrance?!

One other thing – it's a shame they don't sell it at actual Burger Kings – they would make a fortune!

Whew – the second time I tried, it played, didn't give me the “this video is no longer available” text. Yay!
Good — it's still playing for me !
OMG LOL!!!!!
Cracked me up too
OMG, it's hysterical, and so wrong on so many different levels. Where are they going to sell it, Sephora?

Only at Rickys NYC, as I understand it.
I agree entirely that it was BK's intent, and they've succeeded quite well. Hope those ad peeps were well paid.
And seriously, I'm sure the Denny's is up next
Nice to see you!
