I tried this on my skin today (along with the original Omnia on the other side), and I think I like this one the best of the three (I don't really care for Crystalline at all). But it reminds me SO much of another fragrance. I can't completely put my finger on it, but I think its Magnetic Beat by Escada that comes to mind. Either way, I like it. And, it seems to have way more sillage than the original.

So far as I know they haven't discontinued Black or Omnia, and the same perfumer who made Omnia made Omnia Amethyste (Alberto Morillas). I didn't love Amethyste either, but I think I liked it more than you did :-)

I can't understand why Bulgari create perfums like Au Vert, Black and Omnia, then create the instant headache of Amethyste! If this is described as 'more tart' than Amethyste then I wont even sniff it! My fave perfume was Bulgari Black - it was innovative with a natural edge.Omnia was quite good too - gourmande inspired with saffron, ginger and white chocolate. They discontinued both and have obviously got a new perfumer to create these nasty new fragrances. They're meant to be for the younger market but they won't work there either as they're unatural and unfunky. Which teenage girl or young woman wants to smell like synthetic plugin room fragrance? Unless she's tacky. It gives Bulgari a bad name and reflects neither quality or zeitgest. Boo

Interesting -- wouldn't have thought they needed another green tea scent.

I didn't get apple at all, actually. More of a fresh, well, green scent with the same sort of balsa base as the Crystaline. Definitely a tea scent, though. You weren't imagining that one =)

It fades faster than I would like, however, considering how light and fresh it is without having an overly citrusy or aquatic scent.

Tried this on today. I think that I can cross off any more jeweled Omnia flankers. I smelled green apple and powder most prevalently. However, there was a slight tea note in the heart that I might have imagined. It's more tart than Amethyste but they are extremely close sisters; they share that same unfortunate synthetic water smell. They end almost identically. So, no, nothing earth-shattering.

I will say that the ad campaign is probably one of the most beautiful I've seen in a good long while. The bottle is still awfully plastic but the green is a pretty color. Still, not worth... anything. To me, at least.

Well, that's good news. Figures it launched right after my regular mall trip...probably won't get back for a couple more weeks.
